Hi Tishia! I completely understand about how focusing on that big number (100+ pounds) can be a roadblock - overwhelming. Over the last couple years it seems like I keep losing and gaining hte same 10 lbs...how in the world am I going to lose 100? But this year I finally realized I just need to chunk it down, focus on the small things, baby steps. And I also think we're so programmed to think about weight loss in terms of weight, it's easy to forget that as we are gaining muscle and losing fat we're getting "thinner" but our weight might not be changing as much as our appearance. Anyway, rambling... Thanks for coming by! I've bookmarked your blog so I can come by and visit you too. :)

I have more than 100 pounds to lose too and I think that's what tends to be my 'roadblock' to sticking with an exercise/healthy eating routine. Instead of thinking of it in small increments I just think of the BIG number and wonder how I'll ever accomplish it.

I'm looking forward to following along on your journey! Yes definitely having to buy new clothes is a perk :-)

I'm with you Shannon! I had lost over 80 lbs and gained back quite a bit. Not all of it but enough to where I have to buy a size up in bathing suits and some clothes for our trip to Jamaica next month and I'm not happy about it. I really need to get back on the wagon as far as portion control and healthy eating goes. I exercise a lot but to make it work I have to eat right. So, 100 lbs is my goal however I do want to ultimately be in a size 8-10 and right now I'm anywhere between 14-18. I know I can do it, I just have to make it a priority again.

Best wishes to you on your journey! We can do it. Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my blog today and I see you linked to me on your blog roll so thanks!
