Losing 100+ pounds – Weekly Update – Nov 10, 2009

Okay reality check – this week I did not do my normal daily movement (aka exercise) – mostly because last Wednesday I moved a bone out of place and spent a few days with intense shoulder pain coupled with a few days of being sick. Not a great way to start out.
BUT…this brings up something I need to work on.
It’s common for me to do to exercise in bursts and then injure myself. I’ll play soccer with the kids and twist my hip, or run around with the kids and then hurt something. So consistency and gradually increase strength & flexibility is something that I have to work on.
But I did do good on my food intake – mostly because we didn’t have any of the bad stuff in the house
How’d you do this week? Have any goals for the coming week? areas you are trying to improve on?


This week so far is not as planned but I did go to spin on Monday night after doing a bit of the Elliptical. Tuesday was day off, Wednesday I did 25 min. on the rebounder and today I’ll walk outside.
Goals for the rest of the week would be to do a workout tomorrow and spin on Sunday. THEN hopefully back full swing next week. Gosh I hope no more dental issues for a while ha ha.
And as far as injuries, it’s really easy if you overdo it. Be sure to stretch after everything you do. Sometimes I’ll ice my knees if they are hurting. Bad knees are no fun and I have to be very careful. I have had to learn to not overdo it and it’s a challenge.
