Losing 100+ pounds – Weekly Update – Week 8
WooHoo! The choices I made this last week made a difference! I’m back down 3 pounds, so back to a total loss of 7 pounds – in 8 weeks. I’m pleased about that.
I wasn’t really expecting to lose anything this week, especially since there was a lot of little snacks of cookies, candy, and other treats in the food log over the last week, AND I’ve really not been exercising as much as I would prefer. But apparently the little choices, being conscious of the decisions I was making, and the planning ahead made a difference.
Yesterday, I spent a few hours re-reading the first half of the Fat Loss Quickie Motivation Report to get re-psyched for the next month. There’s only 52 weeks left to make my goal, and I don’t want to flounder more like I did this past month.
If you haven’t read the Fat Loss Quickie Motivation Report, I recommend doing so. It’s free and isn’t a sales pitch. Just Scott Tousignant’s tips and advice on how to identify what’s holding you back, how to blast past those excuses, and how to lose the fat and get trim and fit.
I’ll be going through the entire report (it’s 125 pages) the rest of this week to work on my mind-set. I’m still feeling off this week, and really feel I need that extra kick from Scott’s report to jostle me out of this funk and move on.
There’s 52 weeks ahead of me, plenty of time to make a consistent effort to be healthy and fit …and of course lose 100 pounds. But I want to do it so that it’s a lifestyle change – not something I do for a short time, but something I can maintain.
Anyway, I hope you have a great week. And if you will, feel free to give me a virtual “kick” to help me lose this funky, sad, lethargic mood and get a move on!
