Kudos to Angie for Stepping Outside Her Comfort Zone!
Angie from Losingitandlovingit.com is my hero! Seriously, she is so brave. This last weekend, she faced her fears and did her first online video – with Scott Tousignant of Fat Loss Quickie no less, so it won’t just lay in obsurity somewhere online, it’s being viewed!
A few weeks ago, I was so impressed with Tishia posting her weekly updates online in video format, and momentarily considered it, but being someone who has for years deleted nearly every picture taken of me, I just wasn’t there yet.
And Angie was the same – she was totally uncomfortable for being that visible on video, but the woman has HUGE goals this year (she’s going to run a half marathon in December) and she totally overcame the fear to do this video interview with Scott. I’m so proud of her! (and inspired!)
If you can please head over to the video and give her a comment of encouragement. It took a ton of courage to do this… and she did a fabulous job.
Can’t wait to see more video from her this year (and to virtually cheer her on her journey to train for the marathon!).

Thank you so much, Shannon! I was a TOTAL mess at NAMS going back and forth on whether or not I would do video. I did have it on my goal list for NAMS and I just had to overcome it. It was soooo hard! I have a few others that I will be posting on my blog and then I also did some business testimonials for some super cool ladies. Now I have to do them at home without anyone around to push me so thanks for the nudge. Not sure what type of videos I’ll do but any ideas would be great.
Glad to be back!

Angie did awesome! I’m so proud of her! I’m even prouder that I got to be a part of one of the videos that she did! Well not be a part as in it but I got to be there while she was recording it.
Thanks for mentioning me
It was SOOOOO hard to get out of my comfort zone & step on a scale in front of everyone but you know what? Knowing that I do a weekly weigh in video has helped keep me accountable on so many levels!
I say give it try!

I am impressed by these two ladies as well! And inspired. I agree 100% with what Tishia said…doing my weekly weigh in on video DOES help keep me accountable as well as it gets you out of your comfort zone…so give it a try. It’s not as bad as you imagine.

Thanks for the encouragement Mary! I’ve been doing head/shoulders only video on my other blog this year, and that was a big leap for me. So maybe I will join you BRAVE ladies and give it a try here on The Shrinking Mommy….if I can summon up enough courage
