Crystal Light is one that I haven't been able to drink since I was a teen. For some reason I have this addictive reaction to it. Diet soda was similiar, I really had to control how much I was drinking because I would just keep drinking it if it was around.

I've also been amazed how many products have artificial sweetners in it - most things (not all, but most) that are labelled "sugar free" or "low calorie", and even "Low-fat" seem to have some variety of artifical sweetner in it. Last night my daughter picked up some jello as a treat, and it had artificial sweetner in it... having to teach her to read those labels.

For the last few weeks I've really been watching this, and since I'm trying to get anything barriers to weight loss out of my way, a large volume of "diet" or "healthy" products are just not okay for me to eat because of the artificial sweetner.

Been eye opening to say the least :)

Interesting! The only artificial sugar I use on a daily basis is one package of Crystal Light to my water - I never gave it much thought!

Thanks!

Way to go on giving up soda altogether! So happy to hear it. I still can't believe it's been 5 years since I did.

Thanks for checking in on me on my blog. Doing better and hope to be able to get back to gym for spin tomorrow but still unsure. I'll be in touch!
